What are you going to do about it?

Are you one of those types who "talk the talk" and remain inactive?  

Now is the time for us as Christians, members of the body of Christ to step up our game  in His Kingdom.  Satan is committing heinous crimes against ALL MAN KIND! 

More than ever,  our spiritual growth and stability are critical in these last days. Therefore, how do you assessed your spiritual growth? Do you base your spiritual growth according to your own understanding or are you asking GOD for the truth?  

Hey, I understand, we may not always be READY for the truth when God tells us about ourselves, but it is necessary! Seriously, what are the components blocking ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING that God has for HIS people.  

Saints this is not the time to play around or sit on our behinds, we have to actively seek our God. You can be the blessing if you are able and willing to be used by God. He has given us sooo much....for progressing His Kingdom.  Let's DO IT!

Proverbs 16: 3 Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established.

The Cover Up

God knows the integrity of your heart, your motives and intentions!

"The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked, who can know it?." Jeremiah stating to God found in Book of Jeremiah 17 verses 9.  God's response, "I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind.  Even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings."

Be mindful of this, God knows your true character, especially when we are "covering up" to impress others.  How do we cover up?  By attaching ourselves to evil spirit.  Expound?  To mask low-self esteem, we may "cover it up" with a spirit of arrogance.  To mask hatred, we may "cover it up" with a spirit of deceit.

Okay...what should we do instead?

Simple.  Ask.

In Psalm 51:10, "Create in me a clean heart; O God, renew a right spirit within me." (KJV)

We have to be WILLING to release the evil spirit "covering up" whatever we struggle with and ALLOW the HOLY SPIRIT to tell us and show us HOW!

The Matters of the Heart

We rarely hear about Leah, the wife of Jacob, the mother of the six tribes out of twelve and the sister of Rachel in casual bible discussions. When she is introduced in Genesis 29, we find Jacob has escaped a death threat from his brother, Esau, and he has fallen hopelessly in love with Rachel. He works seven years to have her as his wife and all of a sudden, Leah appears in the story, who is described as having "delicate eyes"without a beautiful form or appearance unlike Rachel. As the story progresses, Leah, the oldest daughter of Laban "accidentally" becomes Jacob's wife. Needless to say, Jacob is HEATED! He had made a deal to serve Laban in exchange for Rachel's hand in marriage. So now Jacob agreed to work an additional seven years for the love of his life, Rachel. 

Poor Leah!  How did she get thrown in this confusion triggering the biggest rival in her lifetime? For seven years, she has watched her husband work restlessly for ANOTHER woman, her sister!!! Heart wrenching, right !?!

God took notice. In Genesis 29 v.31 it states, "When the Lord saw that Leah was unloved, He opened up her womb; but Rachel was barren." 

Continuously God, eases the anguish of Leah's heart and does the same for Rachel.

As we fast forward, we see Rachel grieving about her barrenness and in Genesis 30:22, "Then God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her and opened her womb."

We see God cared for them both. The same in our own lives, regardless the dispute between persons, God knows the intention, turmoil or joy of every heart. We see both Leah and Rachel give credit to GOD because they were fulfilled by HIM first.

The Partnership

what does the Partnership with God look like?

When we look at Joshua 1, we see God had put it all out there….

Joshua 1:6 Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.

We invest Faith!

Joshua 1:7 Only be strong and courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.

We invest Obedience!

Joshua 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth,
but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according
to all that is written in it.

We Invest Time!

Let’s stop right there.

Now, in the same breath God gives the benefits.

God's benefits: Joshua 1:5 No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of
your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you or forsake you.

God's Benefits: Joshua 1:8 . . . For then you will make your way prosperous,
and then you will have good success.

What a plan it is? The World can't duplicate this plan!

LOVE!

God's love is the ULTIMATE TREASURE in LIFE!!!  WORSHIP HIM TODAY! 

Taste and see that the Lord is Good....Psalm 34:8!  

The Lord is nigh unto them that are of  a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.  Psalm 34:18

When sincere Worship swells your heart for the Great I AM, our Redeemer, genuine love falls from HEAVEN. Whatever struggles, challenges, or tragedies you are encountering, PAUSE and just thank Him. Surrender what is troubling you unto Him. God can handle it!  Hallelujah!  Not only does he listen, In Zephaniah 3:17 ....The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

We can question all day long, WHY?!? and HOW?!? BUT HIS LOVE SETS US FREE INDEED!!! He LOVES You!  I am just a messenger, but encountering HIS love IS UNDENIABLE JOY ......we can always FIND with the HIS PROMISES HE set and gave before the FOUNDATION of the World. God is the FOUNDATION! Build in HIS LOVE!  ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

Take It Seriously

How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word.  With my whole heart I have sought You; Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments. Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.  Psalm 119: 9 - 11 (NKJV)

Maybe in sometimes in your life we don't know how seriously we need to be regarding our relationship with God because ____________________________.  (You fill in the blank).

But HE is the only one who can cleanse us, change our mindsets, revive us, and place us on a new track with HIS TRUTH!!!

Isn't it compelling how the writer's request, "Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments" found in Psalm 119: 10, puts an emphasis on choices.

Make the decision to seek God wholeheartedly, and let it be done everyday in your life.

Keep it moving!

Philippians 3:13 King James Version (KJV)

 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before....

Satan will ALWAYS attempt to take you back to throw your sins IN your face.  But just like Paul, said "forgetting those things which are behind," that aren't glorifying God...keep it moving.  God is brilliant!  Through His conviction we can learn from our mistakes with His help of course if we take responsibility.  He wants us to reach our destiny, not stepping backwards in  "should've, could've, or would've." We just need to ask God for instruction, obey, and snatch up Victory!  

Remember, WHOSE YOU ARE!  You are the child of an ALMIGHTY GOD, who sent HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, JESUS, FOR A RANSOM FOR YOUR SINS!  Come on Now, no time for us to wade in the water!!!! Let's get across!

Making Room

Afterward the children of Israel shall return and seek the Lord their God and David their king.  They shall fear the Lord and His goodness in the latter days. Hosea 3:4

What is God making room for?  Purging and scrapping gonk, God's love is absolutely merciful. With ALL the challenges in our life, He remains faithful.  When we have turned away from God (no one is counting how many times),  His desire for us is to return back to Him with loyalty, zeal, reverence, and love. There are periods in our lives where we our chastisement from our Heavenly Father, doesn't go unnoticed.  He would rather for us to see what He sees, then leave us in blindness and ignorance. Incredible!  Why?  For us to sulk? No!  So the wretchedness in our lives can dissipate and we turn away from it. Although, the flesh will fight tooth and nail, the Holy Spirit guidance enables VICTORY!
