If there are those talking about their problems, discussing politics, arguing, bickering or expressing personal joys with you, add Jesus Christ, as your Lord and Savior to the conversation. We don't have time to waste. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide your words and prayers this day, everyday.
The Wait
The waits are constant in our lives UNTIL the day of the Lord; Jesus coming again retrieving His People. We will then say, "We can rest!" Can you imagine, the spiritual warfare long gone, a distant memory? What a day that will be!
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31 KJV
We can't always specify the how long the wait will be, but we do know this...there is relief afterwards! Peace embracing our weary minds, right!?! Let us learn how to wait in CONTENTMENT! Take heed!

HELP!
Every time I reach for my phone, I am doing a google search about something.
"Who won the game last night?'
"What are the closest restaurants near me?"
"How to do this and that?
The questionnaire goes on! Then the thought hit me, what am I asking the Holy Spirit? Did I replace Him with Google? Sigh!
David states , "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth." (Psalm 121:1-2).
Before ascending to heaven, Jesus told us that the Comforter, the Holy Spirit would come on down, so we wouldn't be alone or lost. Let us not forget the TRUTH of the ONE who has been sent on our behalf so we will know our Father's business. For God is thy keeper!

There is no other way......
What are you committing yourself these days? A great sermon, emphasized progress is completed in the spotlight and insolation. Regardless of where you are, are you completing the simple and sometimes difficult tasks as well. For you were made for a purpose, but it is very easy (unfortunately) to delay our progress with complaining, ignorance, lack of control and discipline, obedience and submission. For we are to prove out love and devotion to our Heavenly Father by our actions.
In 1 John 2: 4 -5, the bible states the following:
v.4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
v.5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected; hereby know we that we are in him
v.6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

What are you waiting for?
O my God, incline Your ear and hear; open Your eyes and see our desolations, and the city which is called by Your Name; for we do not present supplications before You because of your righteous deeds, but because of Your great mercies.

The time is now to repent,and turn away from your wicked ways. We have to be so sensitive to the Holy Spirit at ALL Times. The bible explains the events coming down the pipe, which Jesus describes as an abomination desolation, according to Matthew 24:15.
We must get prepared by living in righteousness and praying for each other, please do not become impatient for Jesus's return. He shall come like a thief in the night. BUT, how will we respond to the events here on earth while we wait? Are we going to seat back, invest in our 401k and retirement plans?
Get on the job, please don;t be misled by the world's seduction. Be on guard!

The Test
However, regarding the ambassadors of the princes of Babylon, whom they sent to him (Hezekiah) to inquire about the wonder that was done in the land God withdrew from him, in order to test him, that HE might know all that was in his heart. 2 Chronicles 32:31
Aha! So the bible is telling us as believers we are tested? Yes! Why? To see what's in our hearts. That right there . ..makes me nervous, but it is necessary so that we repent! RIGHT!!
Psalm 51:10, "Create in me a clean heart; and renew a right spirit within me!
What does that take? A test! Oh boy! The prayer for all of us is to PAST the TESTS! Hey, we may not get it on the first time, maybe second...but we got to PASS right! WHat God shared with me in the story about Hezekiah above, is that we must slow down...ask questions and use the discernment from the Holy Spirit! Moving too quickly can get us in trouble! As we review the story of Hezekiah moments before his death, he made a critical move that affected his children and kingdom.

The Cover Up
God knows the integrity of your heart, your motives and intentions!
"The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked, who can know it?." Jeremiah stating to God found in Book of Jeremiah 17 verses 9. God's response, "I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind. Even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings."
Be mindful of this, God knows your true character, especially when we are "covering up" to impress others. How do we cover up? By attaching ourselves to evil spirit. Expound? To mask low-self esteem, we may "cover it up" with a spirit of arrogance. To mask hatred, we may "cover it up" with a spirit of deceit.
Okay...what should we do instead?
Simple. Ask.
In Psalm 51:10, "Create in me a clean heart; O God, renew a right spirit within me." (KJV)

The Matters of the Heart
We rarely hear about Leah, the wife of Jacob, the mother of the six tribes out of twelve and the sister of Rachel in casual bible discussions. When she is introduced in Genesis 29, we find Jacob has escaped a death threat from his brother, Esau, and he has fallen hopelessly in love with Rachel. He works seven years to have her as his wife and all of a sudden, Leah appears in the story, who is described as having "delicate eyes"without a beautiful form or appearance unlike Rachel. As the story progresses, Leah, the oldest daughter of Laban "accidentally" becomes Jacob's wife. Needless to say, Jacob is HEATED! He had made a deal to serve Laban in exchange for Rachel's hand in marriage. So now Jacob agreed to work an additional seven years for the love of his life, Rachel.
Poor Leah! How did she get thrown in this confusion triggering the biggest rival in her lifetime? For seven years, she has watched her husband work restlessly for ANOTHER woman, her sister!!! Heart wrenching, right !?!
God took notice. In Genesis 29 v.31 it states, "When the Lord saw that Leah was unloved, He opened up her womb; but Rachel was barren."
Continuously God, eases the anguish of Leah's heart and does the same for Rachel.
As we fast forward, we see Rachel grieving about her barrenness and in Genesis 30:22, "Then God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her and opened her womb."
We see God cared for them both. The same in our own lives, regardless the dispute between persons, God knows the intention, turmoil or joy of every heart. We see both Leah and Rachel give credit to GOD because they were fulfilled by HIM first.

The Partnership
what does the Partnership with God look like?
When we look at Joshua 1, we see God had put it all out there….
Joshua 1:6 Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.
We invest Faith!
Joshua 1:7 Only be strong and courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.
We invest Obedience!
Joshua 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth,
but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according

Satan will ALWAYS attempt to take you back to throw your sins IN your face. But just like Paul, said "forgetting those things which are behind," that aren't glorifying God...keep it moving. God is brilliant! Through His conviction we can learn from our mistakes with His help of course if we take responsibility. He wants us to reach our destiny, not stepping backwards in "should've, could've, or would've." We just need to ask God for instruction, obey, and snatch up Victory!

When we have turned away from God (no one is counting how many times), His desire for us is to return back to Him with loyalty, zeal, reverence, and love. There are periods in our lives where we our chastisement from our Heavenly Father, doesn't go unnoticed. He would rather for us to see what He sees, then leave us in blindness and ignorance. Incredible! Why? For us to sulk? No! So the wretchedness in our lives can dissipate and we turn away from it. Although, the flesh will fight tooth and nail, the Holy Spirit guidance enables VICTORY!

Transparency
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17
Let those around you know about ANYTHING and EVERYTHING God has delivered you from.
People connect with pain, hardship, hope and YOUR TESTIMONY. There is no need to be ashamed or to keep hidden what God has done for you in the open. Since we are new creatures in Christ, right, you may hear comments as such, "I can't believe you used to do that," or "I wouldn't haveknown if you hadn't said anything."
Just like the woman with the issue of blood (Mark 5:25 - 34), since she was made WHOLE, after the 12 years, no one would have guessed the affliction she had faced prior to touching Jesus.
The world needs to hear your testimonies, so they too can walk by faith and believe Jesus is a Savior!

Delight Yourself In The Lord
What We Do Today Will Affect Our Tomorrow!
Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37: 4.
So the question is ….What are we delighting in?
Are our thoughts and actions partnering with Satan? Are we aligning with God’s word? 50%...75%...98%...or 100%. Examine your obstacles! What is Satan highjacking and prolonging in your God-given purpose...DESTINY?!?
What we do today not only affect us but others!
We have to acknowledge God as the head of our lives! Are we living selfishly, ignoring God's counsel. Who did that it FIRST in the bible. Adam and Eve right?? We are still facing the consequences from their poor decision making. Flip the script. Allow Jesus to come in your heart, be ruled by the Holy Spirit and allow God to do what He does best...USES US FOR HIS GLORY! We do not have to walk frantically with could've, should've, regrets. Change the script..
#1 Remember His grace!

Simply don't forget! Take heart for God is your protection ALWAYS and FOREVER. Whatever and wherever we are challenged with combative moments in your lives....

Again, don't forget. When we become frazzled, Satan desires for us to forget, overlook, banish from one's thoughts, abandon, drop, set aside, blank out or disregard to God's Promises, that have set us free and given us peace.
As this occurs, say God's word aloud to yourself and watch how your Sword of the Holy Spirit (Full Armor of God Ephesians 6:10 - 18) MOVES with VIGOR and MOMENTUM.

Again, don't forget. When we become frazzled, Satan desires for us to forget, overlook, banish from one's thoughts, abandon, drop, set aside, blank out or disregard to God's Promises, that have set us free and given us peace.
As this occurs, say God's word aloud to yourself and watch how your Sword of the Holy Spirit (Full Armor of God Ephesians 6:10 - 18) MOVES with VIGOR and MOMENTUM.

Have you ever told a child "to be still"? Why? Either the child could have been moving excessively, randomly talking, just a busy body at the moment.

What is the worst thing that can happen?
I don't know about you but the spirit of Fear gets on my LAST nerve. We can agree that the spirit of Fear comes from Satan. Why does Satan lures you with the Spirit of Fear?
1. Keep you from your God-given destiny
2. To prevent progress and growth in your spiritual/natural life
3. Develop Unbelief/Doubt God's Promises
It is one of Satan's grand tactics to kill, destroy, and steal from us.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and a sound mind. 1 Timothy 1:7 KJV
The spirit of fear will cause us to believe there is something worst; leaving us rattled, unsure, confused, and lonely.
A sound mind, has peace! We have to believe the power given by Jesus (to cast down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ, 2 Corinthians 10:5), to shut things down if only we believe and fight with the full armor of God.

Hide and Seek
What a great deception! Believing things are hidden from God.
Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know Him not see his days?
Job 24:1 KJV

Mark 4:21-22 KJV, Jesus states, "Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick? For there is nothing hid (hidden), which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.
What is God bringing to your attention that you think is hidden?
Whatever they may, God already knows, but you may not understand how "those things" have affected you. How amazing, that we have a Sovereign God who is able and willing to show us what is lurking in the dark, through love and gentleness, for His good purpose. Truth be told, we may not always like what is in the dark or have been nonchalant about whatever is God has His way of fixing whatever needs fixing. Be active in the process!

The Trickle Effect
God's keys to success:
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying, "Pass through the camp and command the people, saying, "Prepare provisions for yourselves, for within three days you will cross over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land which the Lord your God is giving you to possess.
Joshua 1: 8 -11
Although Joshua at the moment had become leader, the possession was for EVERYONE. The world's wisdom which is foolish unto God (1 Corinthians 3:19) will lead us to think solely about ourselves; "What I want...How can I benefit...What's in it for me...."
But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slandered, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And such people turn away.
2 Timothy 3:1- 5
Therefore it is not surprising, to see these evil spirits rising up among us. Are you willing to turn away?
When we look at the beginning of Joshua's leadership, we see how Moses trained him before his departure. However, God commanded him to be strong and courageous, and guess what? The people were also strong and courageous. Since Joshua wasn't afraid or dismayed, the people weren't afraid or dismayed. As we discover in Joshua 1:16, the people followed and agreed with Joshua.
The trickle effect developed a stream of unity and obedience. We are not just here for ourselves, our families, friends, but for thes human race. God has empowered each and everyone of us to spread the gospel, not being afraid or dismayed by "what we may see as intimidation. We fully trust in God.
If we are struggling about fully trusting in God for greater, let us pray.
Lord, forgive us when we doubt and worry about the plans you have for not only us but for our generation and generations to come. We repent when we have not followed your commandments because of our own selfish reasons. However, we want to lean to your understanding and not our own as it says in Proverbs 3:5. Lord you can trust us to get the work done for your glory. Thank you for your instruction, wisdom, knowledge, revelation, and understanding. In the Jesus name, Amen.

Three Reasons To Spend Time Alone with God
What is Spending Time with God? Or have you asked WHAT IS THE BIG DEAL about spending time alone with God? What does that actually look like? Reading a one-minute devotional. Singing a praise and worship song in the car. Praying for 5 minutes before the day begins.
So let’s say you set your alarm in the morning or planned a specific time in the evening once everything quiets down… BUT THEN phone call begins to vibrate (your phone is in arm's) a text notification, children calling you, dog starts barking, you are getting hungry or getting SLEEPY all of sudden.
Next thing you know the Quiet Time Alone didn’t begin or start.
First, recognize that is spiritual warfare. Now the question is, how can we be proactive in getting quality time with the Lord when distractions come.
Psalm 1
V.1 Blessed is the math that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. -
V.2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord, in his law doth he meditate day and night.
V.3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
Verse 1 - God’s Counsel
Proverbs 19:21 There are many devices (plans, some translations say) in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.
V.2 - Delight in the law of the Lord...meditate in it day and night
How are you going to know the Word of God if you are not STUDYING it, not just reading or glimpsing or scanning through...But you are reading with the intention of how will this help me.
- TELLS US ABOUT THE GOD WE SERVE, WE WANT TO KNOW HIM RIGHT FOR YOURSELF, NOT FROM WHAT SOMEONE ELSE SAID...YOU WANT TO SEE WHAT IS ALL THIS FUSS ABOUT...RIGHT??
V.3 -And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper..
We receive a reward, perk for spending time with him...let’s not concentrate on the tangible things, that is not what we are talking about...what is it then
….wisdom, knowledge, understanding, skill, revelation..
Check out Daniel 1:17 ----Background story, Daniel asked for him and ther other three hebrew boys to have a different diet compared to their counterparts which was delicacies from the king’s table...they were able to do so for the next ten days...others noticed they looked 10 times better than the others, why based upon the LAW in the Old Testament what to eat found in (Deuteronomy). Okay, since they spoke up, God noticed and gave them not only FAVOR, BUT in addition knowledge, skill in learning, wisdom, and Daniel had understanding all visions and dreams.
Keep in mind.... these things LAST, they never grow old!
3 Reasons To Spend Time with God
1. His counsel, direction/instruction in your life, to know God for yourself
2. Develop a relationship with Him
3. Rewards from Him, to help not just you but others.
Who did actually did it?
Jesus- leaving the crowd...getting away... God’s the Father’s will and not His Own (God’s the Father counsel) and then Reward. Read Philippians 2:8 - 11 (NIV)
v.8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbles himself, by becoming obedient to death - even death on a cross!
v.9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place, and gave him the name that is above every name,
v.10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth.
v.11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
WHOA! All we have to do is follow Jesus' example!

More?
What do we want more of? What "more" does God want from us? According to Hebrew 11:25, Moses choose affliction with his people. We know that trouble will come, we will go through trials and tribulations, but of course our flesh does not want to. "More" could possibly gather weakness, weariness on one end of the stick but seeing GOD's glory, feeling His JOY, understanding His Word, and working in POWER AND AUTHORITY trumps. We must walk after the Spirit (Romans 8:1) and drag your flesh along.
God the Father, created us for His glory. He has commanded in His word to serve others, spread His gospel. He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ (John 3:16), so we can salvation from our sins and eternal life. We just can't keep Godly transformation to ourselves. We belong to a chosen generation, holy nation, royal priesthood, and peculiar people, that we show praises to Him, who has called us out of the darkness into the light (1 Peter 2:9).
This world will tell you it's all about you and what YOU can attain! But it is not about you! We ALL are expected to work for the body (church) of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit will spoil our selfish plans through conviction, knowledge, and guidance so we may lean to God's understanding for ALL He wants us to do for His glory. Remember, why you were created. God's Glory.

Choosing
What are you choosing today? No one LIKES to suffer but when we claim we are believers of Jesus Christ, living by the Holy Spirit, we must put our flesh under subjection. Let us excel in the Holy Spirit! Great! Okay, why then do we stop ourselves? Is it because of the spirit of fear, complacency, greed, etc...? We are living in the last days, where people will choose themselves. They observe catastrophes in the world, stay glue to the television, social media posts, news feed, talk about it and that is it! Nothing has penetrated in their hearts to ACTIVELY seek change for GOD's purpose. What does God say about the matter? What does God' want us to do in the thick of the smoke? No wonder Paul, said fight the good fight of faith (1 Timothy 6:12 KJV). Don't get weary in your well-being.
In Hebrews 12, individuals are listed on the "Faith Wall of Fame." Moses being one of them. As I was reading these, Hebrews 12:24 -25 leaped off the page. Read below.
v. 24 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of the Pharaoh's daughter;
v. 25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;
Did you catch that? What do you think? Our assignments for God can be painful, uncomfortable, or WHACK to our flesh, but we have a reward! God is our reward! TODAY we must do the best we possibly can with God's help of course, that God is the reward for us all. Now you may deal with stubborn, stiff-necked people just like Moses, but you must press on to the prize and do your part. Let's not ignore, push aside what God has called us to do for others and His glory.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and the perfecter of our faith. For the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Hebrews 12: 1-2 NIV
Hebrews 12:1-2 describes the importance of keeping our eyes FIXED on our reward Jesus Christ (we have already attain, HALLELUJAH), every moment in our lives. Not as easy as it sounds.... tell me about it. BUT we can! What are the obstacles/distractions blocking us? What sins and temptations getting in our way? Satan intentionally and strategically ATTEMPTS to throw us off by putting our faith in OURSELVES, family, children, marriage, job, 401(k), investments, retirement plans, education, etc. BUT NOT GOD! WHY? To keep us from what GOD has for us!
Be on the look out! What is entangling you?

They were left to test the Israelites to see whether they would obey the Lord's commands, which he had given their ancestors through Moses.
Wow!!! How often does this happen in our lives? Only God knows..right! Let's follow God's commandments and learn from the test. Is God testing you right now?

Wisdom...What is the big deal?
What is the big deal when it comes to Wisdom?
God wants us to lean on His understanding and not our own. How do we do that? Ask for wisdom. In James 1:5-6, the bible states the following:
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men, liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given unto him.
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. for he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the mind and tossed.
Get ready..we already know God's wisdom will blow out minds. Why does He choose to give us wisdom?
Read below...in Corinthians 2:4-6, 10
Any speech and my preaching what not with enticing words of man's wisdom but in demonstration ofthe spirit and of power:
That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect; yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit; for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
Are we retaining wisdom or letting it seep out by the wayside? Are we becoming double minded because we aren't believing the wisdom god is giving to you? Are we acting as though we know better than God? Are we forgetting what God is showing us? Are we speaking from ignorance? Are we meeting dead ends because of doubt?
Here is the mental picture...shaking our heads saying to God..."ahhh nahh, that doesn't sound right Lord?".
Let us experience, power and recognize the demonstrations of the God's spirit.

What are affirmations? Affirmations are POSITIVE proclamations and declarations that one agrees to regarding actions in their lives. A biblical-based affirmation is agreeing with the Word of God. For example. Here is the scripture...

You are simple inserting your name or "first person" in the scripture. Why is this significant? Well if you believe in the word of God, you believe EVERYTHING He has said concerning you.
In Proverbs 18:21 states, death and life are in the power of the tongue; and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
Well if you believe in the word of God, you believe EVERYTHING He has said concerning you.
This is the notion of speaking life over yourself or coming in agreement. Let's just sit back and watch God do His thing!

What is God speaking to you about? Part. 1

What are you asking God for? As it pertains to the text, Solomon asked God to dwell in the temple of Jerusalem. And God answers Him. In Chronicles 6, shows Solomon's prayer.
Is God giving more than a "yes" or " no" response regarding your prayer request. What are the details of His response? Are there any conditions or statutes that you must uphold? How is God's answer benefiting you and other people? Just something to think about. We aim to please the Lord in all that we do. Let us listen carefully to God's responses.
